Shipping

Once your order is placed, your pieces are usually packaged and dispatched within 3–5 working days. For bespoke creations, custom designs, or specific items, please check the individual timing noted in the product description.

We ship safely and insured with UPS. Delivery times and costs depend on your destination.

Please note that customs duties, import taxes, or local charges are covered by the recipient.

Studio Pick up

If you are nearby, you are very welcome to collect your order directly from the studio. Simply select “Pick up” at checkout. We will let you know as soon as your piece is ready and arrange a time for you to drop by, either during opening hours or by appointment.


WITHDRAWAL/RETURNS
We hope you love your jewellery. However, if a piece is not quite right, you can exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving it, without needing to provide a reason.

To initiate a withdrawal, please request it directly through your Withdrawal on our website or alternatively send a short note to mail@alkemissalla.com.

EXCHANGES
If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, length, or another design, the fastest and easiest way is to place a new order directly through the online shop. This ensures your new piece is secured and processed immediately.

Simply send the original item back as a regular return, and your payment will be refunded as soon as it arrives.



DETAILS & CONDITIONS
Refunds: Once your return arrives and has been inspected, the full purchase price will be refunded, including the initial standard shipping costs.

Return Shipping: Shipping costs for returns are covered by the customer. Choosing an insured service with a tracking number is highly recommended, as the studio cannot take responsibility for items lost or damaged on their way back.

Condition: Pieces must be returned in their original, unused condition. For items showing signs of wear or damage beyond a regular try-on, the right to deduct a compensation fee from the refund is reserved.

Exclusions: Custom designs or pieces made to individual specifications are uniquely yours and cannot be returned or refunded.

CUSTOM REQUESTS & SIZES

Many designs can be adapted to fit you perfectly. Pieces can be made to order in alternative sizes, intermediate ring sizes, custom chain lengths, with personalised engravings, or in solid 14k or 18k yellow or white gold.

JEWELLERY CARE

Jewellery is made to be lived in. Over time, silver and gold develop subtle marks, shifting gently with you, becoming part of your story and their character. To keep them at their best, remove your pieces during physical activity and store them carefully.

Silver: Silver changes over time. It naturally oxidizes and darkens when exposed to air and humidity. A gentle polish with a soft silver cloth easily restores its original surface. For a deeper clean, use warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush. Dry gently and store separately. To protect the metal, avoid contact with cosmetics, perfumes, chemicals, and chlorinated or salt water.

Gold: Solid gold pieces are crafted from 14k or 18k yellow or white gold. They hold a natural warmth that endures over time. To preserve their beauty, store your gold jewellery separately in a dry place and keep it away from harsh chemicals, cosmetics, and chlorinated or salt water.

Gold plated pieces: Many designs feature a base of sterling silver with a high-quality 18k gold plating. This surface will gently and naturally wear over time, revealing the silver underneath, a beautiful process of change. To prolong its life, store your pieces dry and separately. Avoid contact with cosmetics, chemicals, and chlorinated or salt water. Please do not bend or reshape the jewellery, and avoid polishing with abrasive cloths. 

Re-plating: If the gold layer on your jewellery shows wear and you wish to restore its original look, a professional re-plating service is always available. Your pieces will be carefully cleaned and newly plated in the studio. The process takes approximately 14 days.
